Get Crafty: Painting Flower Pots for Springtime Planting Projects

Springtime is right around the corner.  We did a planting project last year where we took our daughter to our local hardware store and let her pick out several plants to plant and a pot of her own to paint. We also went to the local craft store and picked out several colors of acrylic paint and some new paint brushes.  She had a great time being creative.  We still have the pot to use with this years planting project and will let her paint a new one as well.  Don't forget to put the date somewhere on it if you plan to keep it for use in future years.
