Today my three year old wanted to do a craft while my one year old took his morning nap. I didn't have anything planned, but we had so much fun with the paper plate wreaths I wanted to do something else with paper plates. I thought it would be fun to cut out a Christmas tree silhouette and have some fun with flashlights. It was super easy. After we used the silhouette, we had fun practicing shadow puppets. It is an easy craft and activity to do when you are stuck in doors and can be adapted to other holidays as well. You can also punch a hole in the top and hang it with some ribbon like a wreath or use a small plate and hang it as an ornament.
